Hypermobility is when joints are able to move outside of the "normal" range of motion. Simply said, when joints are naturally flexible. In this workshop, we will explore some simple ways of identifying hypermobility in yourself or perhaps if you teach yoga, in your students. From here, we will look at how to "fix" some of the common poses we tend to dive too deeply into and focus on how to reconnect to our bodies and their position in space. We will touch on some aspects of pose sequencing and finish with a practice to invoke stability and encourage reconnection.
