What is Sound Therapy Workshop

We are surrounded by vibrations, both healthful and dis-ease causing, during every moment of our day. For example, using or being in close proximity to high decibel equipment such as lawnmowers and leaf blowers for longer than 30 minutes can cause hearing loss as well as other health issues such as migraines and hypertension. With awareness and mindful intentions and choices, you can influence your environment, minimize harmful vibrations, and surround yourself with sounds that contribute to wellness. This workshop will include discussion, play, exploration, meditation, & listening experiences to help you learn more about sound and its effects. You will create a personal action plan to reduce harmful sounds and increase healing vibrations in your daily life. As a bonus, you will learn how sound therapy with a trained practitioner can further your journey to well-being. Mini Sessions in the vibroacoustic chair will be offered after the event so you can experience sound therapy yourself!
