Emily, Studio Coordinator

Emily discovered yoga in 2017 after attending a restorative class with her mom and quickly found herself returning to her mat. Since then, she's learned that yoga has invaluable meaning— from physical well-being to a vital tool in managing anxiety and other mental health conditions.

Outside the studio, she likes to take in Tennessee's incredible hiking trails, pitch a tent in the middle of the woods, or float down the river in the summertime. As an adventurous eater and an aspiring cook, she is always eager to try any and all ethnic foods she can find. She also loves practicing macramé art, being a plant mom and going to bluegrass shows whenever she can.

She shares her life with her one-eyed Great Pyrenees dog, who's taught her a wealth of lessons all without saying a word.

Before joining Blue Ridge Yoga, she worked as a writer, and prior to that, worked on the water as a yacht stewardess. This venture allowed her to travel and work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, enriching her life with various experiences and perspectives.

Emily is excited to help you find the same peace and strength that yoga continues to bring to her.
